“How would your business survive a public relations crisis?”

Michelle Prak has more than 20 years’ experience in the communications field, spanning public relations, politics, corporate communications, writing, journalism, and social media. She is a former spokesperson and media adviser for the Motor Accident Commission, and a former Chief of Staff to a Federal MP.

Michelle is immediate past President of the SA Council of the Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA) which she steered for two and a half years. She was one of the inaugural mentors for Women in Media. Michelle has a BA in Journalism and Masters in Communication Management, and teaches PR at the University of South Australia and Flinders University.

The Northern Business Breakfast is also an amazing opportunity to network and connect with 100 of your peer business owners and leaders.

Farewell Judith Nitz

Judith has been part of the Rotary Club of Elizabeth since husband Theo was inducted in 1991.  She chaired the Ladies’ meetings when Theo was President in 1999/2000 and 2004/2005.  Judith, with Theo, was for many years responsible for the organising the Trailer Raffle, buying the prizes and the trailer and then spending many hours selling tickets at various venues.  She was always active when preparing, serving food at barbecues and the tea towels, aprons and table cloths were always taken home by her for the laundry.

It is with pleasure that the partners in the Northern Business Breakfast announce that on 27th June at Grand Central we will have two special guest speakers.
As many people would know that local government is the closest arm of government to the taxpayers. It is an arm of government that has a direct impact on the customers and the business environment locally.
Business confidence is contagious. Both good and bad.
The June Northern Business Breakfast will provide Mayor Gillian Aldridge of the City of Salisbury and Mayor Glenn Docherty of the City of Playford with 10 minutes each for them to outline their economic vision and prospects for their respective council area.
Each council area has exciting development opportunities which have received very little public coverage so far.

“Auto Transformers Goes from Strength to Strength”

Auto Transformers  learned early that you need help in business and having a mentor is valuable this helped them receive a $20,000 Small Business Development Fund expansion grant which in turn helped support their move to Para Hills West, purchase new equipment and add an additional three full-time equivalent staff to the business.

Come and hear Andrew talk about how he has managed to grow his business and employ key staff and what helped him could also help others.
