As the Director of the South Australian Space Industry Centre Mr Lovett will paint a picture of the opportunities for South Australia and our states businesses. Come and hear how Space will change the SA Economy and about the emerging opportunities including regional launch facilities.
About Our Speaker.
Darin Lovett is Director Space for the South Australian Space Industry Centre where he is focused on leveraging disruption, innovation, and strong support to build a sustainable space industry for South Australia.
He has more than 25-years-experience in strategy and capability development for the Air and Space domains. His diverse background includes university lecturer, space operations and policy, weapons test and evaluation, flying anti-submarine and surveillance operations, coalition partnering, and large-scale transformation projects.
His ‘space credentials’ include: graduate of the International Space University, staff officer in Australia’s joint Defence Space Coordinating Office, four years on staff to the US Executive Agent for Space within the Pentagon (EA4SS/SAF-SP), and Chief of Australia’s Space Operations Centre within HQ Joint Operations Command.
Darin has Master’s degrees in Philosophy, Science, and Arts; and a Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering.

(made up of $A22.50 + $2.50 to cover credit card fees). If you register your details online below and hit “continue” and then “register” you will be taken to the encrypted PayPal portal where you can pay by PayPal or credit card (you don’t need a PayPal account to pay with credit card). Unfortunately, there are no refunds on cancellation in the last 14 days prior to events or non-attendance at events as we are liable for catering costs based on your booking. Payment on arrival will be normally $A 35 (cash or credit card).
