Road Safety for Elizabeth South Primary School Students

For the second year in a row, the Club sponsored year 5 children to a road safety session at the Road and Cycle Safety Centre. The School's newsletter below, thanks the Rotary Club of Elizabeth, together with some students' comments .

Rotary Youth Leadership Awards

Three canditates were sponsored by our Club for this years RYLA week held at Belair
Aled Proeve, Chelsea Hind and Lauren Brown delighted the members and guests present with stories of their experience at the camp. which was held in July.

Food Management and Safe Preparation

The Club is involved in many aspects of food preparation.  It is mandatory that all members involved in preparing food, whether for meetings or with the barbecue trailer hold Food Preparation Certificates.  For those who did have those qualifications, the Club held a Food Safety  Course with an accredited trainer over two weeks.  Over 90% of club members are now certified to prepare food.

For several years, our club has volunteered to man the Yellow Brick Road  booths at the Royal Adelaide Show, along with other Roatry Clubs.

This years Yellow Brick Road includes an Advertiser Newspaper, 500gm bag of carrots, bananas, bread, biscuits, potatoes, orange, apple or pear and 7 other items.
