  • Almost one in five Australians (20%) will experience a mental illness in a 12-month period.
  • Nearly half (45%) of the population will experience a mental illness at some stage in their lives.
  • At least one third of young people have had an episode of mental illness by the time they are 25 years old.
  • Mental illnesses are the third leading cause of disability burden in Australia.
  • Anyone can develop a mental illness and no one is immune to mental health problems

Securing investment in 2011, Zing International launched in 2012 during the 2012/13 Big Bash League and has grown export markets and proliferated through all forms of the game from T20, 50 over and Test Cricket.

Dr Andrew Dunbar, NBBis the Chief Operating Officer of the Office of the South Australian Chief Entrepreneur. In this role, he is responsible for supporting the Chief Entrepreneur and Entrepreneurship Advisory Board and delivering on the Government’s commitment to growing entrepreneurship and supporting start-up and scale up business in South Australia, across a range of industries. He is also responsible for delivering the Startup hub at Lot Fourteen.

Andrew has more than 17 years’ experience working in the life sciences industry in Australia and Europe. He has a PhD in molecular biology/biochemistry from Flinders University, and is a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
