What can a local Rotary Club do to have direct and immediate effect when disasters occur here in Australia and across the world?  If homes were destroyed what would be needed immediately to keep a family safe, undercover and together in such times of great need?

Australia Day and the Rotary Club of ElizabethIt’s never easy looking back to determine exactly when the Rotary Club of Elizabeth began an involvement with Australia Day but we think it was around the mid 1970’s. Everything was fairly new, the Town of Elizabeth, the Rotary Club and the community all shared a growing up phase together, everybody was looking for opportunities and community projects of value.

  Elizabeth Rotary has financially supported this hospital for more than 20 years on an annual basis. Past President Arthur Eason first brought this project to the Clubs attention in September 1994.

Our annual Christmas Trailer raffle is at Elizabeth Shopping Centre for the next five weeks.  Tickets are still $2. each, available at the Shopping Centre, or can be purchased via books of ten (at $20.00 each) via direct deposit at our bank and notifying treasurer Ron Watts. direct payment transfer to BENDIGO BANK, Elizabeth Club Account BSB 633-000 Account Number 143147296 ,
